Requirements

2 years of security experience
2 years of CCTV experience
Valid New York State Security Guard License
CPR & First Aid certification
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Flexible work schedule, including weekends
Strong and Consistent Work Ethic
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Command of the English language and ability to communicate clearly
Proficiency in using smartphones and tablets
Professional demeanor and appearance
Minimum age requirement of 18 years old (or as per state regulations)
Authorized to legally work in the United States
Successful completion of a drug test with negative results
Pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verification, as well as Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks, if applicable
If prior military, must be able to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, upon job offer

Responsibilities

Assist visitors, provide directions, and deter loitering
Respond immediately to emergencies, providing necessary support and contacting emergency services when required
Patrol the site, ensuring a secure environment
Write detailed incident reports and log book entries
Protect our client's and company's assets from theft, assault, fire, or other safety issues
Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently as needed
