Directs staff engaged in providing academic training for all students and ensures departmental programs and standards meet all DOL, PRH, Center, and Bizzell US requirements. Ensures that all classroom instruction is rigorous and relevant. Collaborates with Career Technical Manager to provide applied academics in the academic program. Oversee the accommodation process by reviewing job corps applicant files for possible health, mental health, physical, drug, and alcohol or education accommodations. Identify if accommodations are needed and reasonable ensuring the process is thorough and appropriate. Set up and accurately maintain accommodation files. Monitor, track, and follow up on the effectiveness of accommodations.
