About The Position

Academics Manager Key Role: Designs, implements and evaluates an organization's learning courses and programs. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in military intelligence training, curriculum development, instructional systems design, or academic program management
  • Experience with the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) and Marine Corps training and education frameworks
  • Experience managing accreditation processes, including ACE or higher-education accreditation systems
  • Experience leading or overseeing multi-site instructional programs and curriculum modernization efforts
  • Experience with AI and Large Language Model (LLM) tools
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management or training systems, such as MCTIMS
  • Ability to incorporate responsible AI-enabled solutions into curriculum development, assessment analytics, academic workflows, and instructional support processes
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Possession of exceptional written and verbal communication skills, to produce high-quality academic documents and command-level briefings
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • TS/SCI clearance preferred
