The St. James Performance Academy (TSJ PA) is a premier holistic performance and education institution dedicated to developing the next generation of elite student-athletes. Combining rigorous college-preparatory academics, world-class athletic training, and a structured emphasis on executive functioning and life skills, TSJ PA equips students to thrive academically, athletically, and personally—preparing them for success in college, career, and beyond. TSJ PA operates within a blended-learning academic model in which live, teacher-led instruction is delivered virtually through our K-12 partner platforms, while students complete their coursework on campus within a structured, high-performance environment. Academic Success Educators (ASEs) play a central role in this model, serving as the primary academic facilitators and advocates for each student-athlete. ASEs are responsible for monitoring daily academic engagement, supporting executive functioning and study skills, communicating with virtual instructors and families, and ensuring the overall academic progress, accountability, and success of every TSJ PA student-athlete. The Academic Success Educator supports the academic growth and personal development of student-athletes at The St. James Performance Academy. This role is assigned to either High School or Elementary/Middle School cohorts based on the educator’s qualifications and experience. The position works closely with the Director of the Academy to foster the skills, behaviors, and habits that drive academic achievement, personal responsibility, and lifelong learning in a performance-focused environment.
