About The Position

The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Academic Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our growing program at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide a wide variety of anesthesia care while contributing to the department’s academic, research, and teaching missions. Position Highlights Provide comprehensive anesthesia services for pediatric patients across a wide range of surgical specialties and procedural settings. Deliver high-quality perioperative care and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical continuum at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Supervise and teach residents, fellows, and medical students in both clinical and didactic settings. Participate in departmental academic activities, including research, quality improvement, and scholarly projects. Engage in collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical care across the institution. MD, DO, or equivalent degree. Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA or equivalent). Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology. Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas. Demonstrated interest in education, scholarship, and academic contributions. Commitment to excellence in patient care, teamwork, and professional development.

Requirements

  • MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA or equivalent).
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas.
