The University of Louisville Department of Medicine invites applicants for a full-time faculty position within the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism. The clinical enterprise of the division spans the University of Louisville Hospital, Jewish Hospital and Norton Hospital in downtown Louisville, and the Louisville VA Medical Center. It has developed unique clinical programs addressing diabetes, cardio-metabolic risk reduction, pituitary disease, and transgender medicine. The division has an active fellowship program with two fellows per year. Responsibilities will include general endocrinology patient care and teaching fellows, residents, and medical students. The position will also afford many collaborative opportunities for clinical and translational research. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The successful candidate will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level and participate in expanding our educational program. Candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Endocrinology. The academic appointment and compensation will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s level of development. Physician provides assessment, management and outcome evaluation for patients’ outpatient settings. Educates patients, families and staff.
