Requirements

  • A deep belief in the ability of every child and a commitment to academic excellence.
  • High School degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting academic leadership, curriculum coordination, or school operations preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Active participation in a Christian church.
  • Alignment with the mission, values, and Statement of Beliefs of St. Augustine Preparatory Academy.
  • Lastly and most importantly, the candidate must demonstrate and possess the highest integrity and live out the values, beliefs, and culture of Aug Prep.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Academic Officer, including scheduling, meeting preparation, note-taking, and communication management.
  • Organize and maintain electronic files and academic documentation systems.
  • Coordinate and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth execution of academic initiatives and daily operations.
  • Collaborate with the CAO to support curriculum development, vertical alignment, and assessment practices across K-12.
  • Assist in implementing instructional initiatives that advance the school’s academic vision.
  • Coordinate professional development opportunities to strengthen instructional practices and student outcomes.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze academic data to inform instructional decisions and monitor student progress.
  • Support the preparation of academic reports for leadership, board members, and accrediting bodies.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CAO and faculty, staff, students, and parents to ensure clear and consistent communication of academic priorities.
  • Support coordination of academic events such as parent-teacher conferences, showcase nights, and professional learning communities (PLCs).
  • Model professionalism, discretion, and integrity in all communications and interactions.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Serve with flexibility and a team-first mindset, recognizing that no task is outside the scope of strengthening the academic mission.
  • Actively contribute to a culture rooted in faith, collaboration, and high expectations.
