Coaches work with students to address academic self-awareness; building confidence, resilience, and grit; identifying and accessing resources; developing time management and organization systems and strategies; and improving communication with peers and professionals, among other core outcomes. Academic coaches meet twice per week for the semester with students as assigned. Coaches are responsible for maintaining accurate and complete records, earning certification as an advanced academic coach, and attending other trainings.
