About The Position

Academic Coaching is a spring semester program offered out of the SARC First Year Experience Programs. This program provides students with a weekly accountability partner for working toward their academic goals and developing a stronger skillset to utilize during their time at UP. The purpose of Academic Coaching is to promote academic skill-building and increase participants' academic confidence. Academic Coaches are sophomore through senior students who are paired with first-year students registered for the Academic Coaching program. The purpose of this program is to provide first-year students a safe place to discuss academic struggles from the previous semester and work to build better habits both in and outside the classroom. This position would start January 11th, 2026.
