The Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking to recruit an outstanding mid-career academic clinical physician to join a robust and growing breast cancer oncology program. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in breast medical oncology, be comfortable taking care of breast cancer from early to late stages, and possess general oncology knowledge with an interest in clinical research in breast cancer. Research duties have the potential of being supported by protected research time. The candidate will work with a large team of clinicians, administrators, and staff across multiple care sites in a multidisciplinary format. There is an option for the candidate to be considered for the Clinical Program Lead for Breast Medical Oncology role, based on experience and interests, which comes with protected time but is not mandatory. Candidates with an interest in clinical administration and/or quality measures will be given high priority. The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is a leading academic medical campus focused on transformative education, science, medicine, and healthcare, with significant research grants and a large faculty, resident, and fellow population in the Department of Medicine. The Medical Oncology faculty are nationally and internationally recognized for their innovative cancer research.
