Seattle University is seeking an academic advisor to advise students for the Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University. Undergraduate Academic Advisors guide students through educational planning and registration processes; assist students in resolving challenges to educational progress; and connect students to information, opportunities, and resources at the University. Academic Advisors advise a caseload of students assigned by major and/or class standing, interacting with students individually in scheduled and drop-in appointments, in small groups, online, and through occasional events and programs. Undergraduate Academic Advisors collaborate with campus partners, faculty, and academic departments to ensure timely and accurate information in support of student success. This position works as part of an advising center team assigned to a specific school or college and reports to the University Advising office. Academic Advisors educate the whole student through holistic and proactive advising services.
