The department is looking to fill the position of an Academic Adviser - Meteorology and Atmospheric Science. This position will manage all aspects of Department undergraduate program, including recruitment, first-year student advising, events, scholarships, and matriculation through the B.S. program. This position will work directly with students on matters relating to their courses and academic progress and serve as the primary adviser to first-year students. The recruiting aspect of this position is critical in maintaining continual growth within the program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive practices that promote diversity, along with sound judgment, effective decision-making and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate well as part of a team.
