Requirements

18 years + years of age
Experience working with the Special Needs community (professional, volunteer, or familial)
1+ years of experience working with children
Experience in aquatics, fitness, or related activities
Excellent communication skills
Ensure that programs are executed to meet the needs of all ages, abilities, and skill levels as well as maintaining safety and well-being of campers

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage Ability Campers in regularly scheduled camp activities and provide pull-out opportunities for campers who may need them
Provide instructional support and age appropriate progressive skill development in the program
Adapt program activities according to camper's needs
Provide feedback to participants and parents/guardians on individual performance
Ensure program area is safe and clear of any hazards
