About The Position

Open Sky’s Acquired Brain Injury programs serve adults with acquired brain injury and physical or developmental disabilities who are referred by the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission. These programs provide individualized services to help participants live independently in their own apartments. Our services include finding accessible housing, coordinating healthcare, supervising PCAs and arranging for transportation when needed. The Program Coordinator is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of the program. They ensure there is optimum program coverage through developing and monitoring the program schedule as well as d evelop and monitor the implementation of all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served. The Program Coordinator will also coordinate with the team to facilitate and monitor the implementation of activities, service plans and support staff with medical and medication protocols.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or higher in Human Services or Social Services related field, or equivalent required.
• Alternative education/experience in lieu of formal education will be considered.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities, required.
• Supervisory experience, required.

• Experience within human services field. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide goal-oriented supervision to Counselors.
• Facilitate weekly staff meeting, participate in supervision, team, and other assigned meetings.
• Manage program budget.
• Develop and monitor the implementation of all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well being of individuals served.
• Assist people to access, and/or provide, all needed transportation.
