The Chart Audit Specialist is responsible for maintaining Ivy’s mission, vision, and values to continue to support and train the Ivy clinicians to empower their documentation to show the clinically excellent care that they have provided. Our ideal teammate has a strong clinical documentation and training background with an understanding of the regulations and policies that direct the needs of documentation and has an educational approach to providing feedback and training. This position allows for remote work.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited BCBA program or have passed the RBT certification exam by the BACB
  • At least 4 years of clinical experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated with the willingness to exceed expectations, learn and grow
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding time management and ability to multi-task
  • Microsoft product (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency
  • Understanding of regulatory policies

Responsibilities

  • Review clinical documentation to ensure the documentation highlights the skilled care that was provided as well as the medical necessity of the care as it is described within the regulatory manuals.
  • Schedule and lead educational sessions based on the results of the review of documentation
  • Cultivate relationships with the clinical leadership and compliance team
  • Assist in the development of education materials
  • Act as a resource and support the clinical operations team with documentation related matters
