About The Position

Exegistics Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented AR Aging, Collections & Customer Invoicing Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity based onsite at our customer’s Southeast Memphis facility. This role is responsible for reviewing accounts receivable aging within the company’s Transportation Management System (TMS), following up on outstanding invoices, and assisting with the processing of new customer invoices. Regular communication with customers via email and phone is required, making strong customer service and communication skills essential.

Requirements

  • Prior Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-service-oriented approach to collections and invoicing
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with a Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Prior invoicing or collections experience

Responsibilities

  • Review AR aging reports within the TMS to identify past-due invoices
  • Follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances via phone and email
  • Assist with preparing, reviewing, and processing new customer invoices
  • Resolve billing questions and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer communications and invoice activity
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure invoicing accuracy and efficient collections
  • Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
