About The Position

We are currently seeking a A/R Billing Specialist to join the team at our central office in Beaverton, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for daily billing and auditing for the communities, all resident accounts, and leasing and rent inventory management. You will closely coordinate with the central office accounting and operations teams, and the community-based executive management teams. The essential responsibilities will include: Communicating with community leadership and key roles supporting billing questions Assisting with weekly billing census and related reconciliation activities Supporting billing and invoicing residents using Touchmark billing and property management systems, including ALIS and RealPage Tracking outstanding resident charges; invoicing, applying payments Utilizing FullCount and TELS to support accounts receivable processes, payment activity, and reporting Building and maintaining reports to support operational and financial goals Reviewing and updating market rates, amenity pricing, and general property data within leasing and billing systems Serving as a central point of contact for system updates or modifications related to billing, accounting, and resident data integrity Interim support for business office manager regarding billing when needed

Requirements

  • Three to five years of general accounting or billing experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; advanced Excel skills required
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and a desire for continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with property management, billing, or resident management systems preferred
  • Experience working with the following systems and tools is preferred:
  • ALIS resident management and billing system
  • RealPage property management and leasing systems
  • FullCount accounts receivable and payment processing tools
  • TELS billing and resident account systems
  • Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced proficiency in Excel

Responsibilities
