Do you enjoy company paid travel and opportunities to see other parts of the country? Take off on an exciting new career adventure! This position will work on our 2nd shift, which is Sunday-Wednesday from 3:30pm-1:30am. Training will be conducted on 1st shift for up to 6 months. As the A&P Technician, you will perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing equipment You will conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications You will manage technical products, services logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers You will also troubleshoot technical problems and issues, recommending actions to company or customer representatives while assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications Up to 25% Travel What You Will Learn How to serve as local on-site RTX representative to the customer's organization, managing statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training)
  • Active A&P License
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management
  • A&P Technician experience
  • Shop/Bench refurbishment experience
  • Experience with the inspection of engine parts refurbishment, troubleshooting, repairs and return to service of engines, modules and components
  • Airframe experience with Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC)-powered aircraft
  • Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience - rigging, R&I, MRP's, aircraft interface
  • Customer service experience
