About The Position

The A&P Structures Mechanic must accurately repair and perform scheduled maintenance on all airplanes and perform inspections as required by the FAA. Performs structural modifications and repairs to aircraft. Assist the shop with meeting schedule needs to make on-time delivery of the aircraft to support missions. Use precision measuring equipment and hand tools to fabricate, assemble and install aircraft structural components. Works effectively with engineering in recommending design enhancements and productivity improvements. Operates all required ground support equipment. Effectively troubleshoots and repairs all aircraft and customer systems. Prompt and regular attendance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Structural Aircraft Maintenance and Modification.
• Aircraft Movement.
• Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactions.
• Thorough working knowledge of all current FAA regulations, IPC and ATA codes.
• Valid Driver's License.
• US Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a United States Security Clearance .
• Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening.
• Must be able to obtain a passport.
• Mechanical Aptitude.

Nice To Haves

• Six (6) years' of aircraft-related experience in Structural Maintenance and Modification.
• King Air B350 structural modification.
• Prior training experience on aircraft mechanical systems.
• Veteran Status Preferred.
