About The Position

A&P Mechanic Crew Leads are responsible for performing all maintenance functions and effectively troubleshoot all aircraft. They are also responsible for proficiency in all documentation and paperwork.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid A&P certificate
  • Hold a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license
  • Level II/III mechanic with good troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills are required
  • Willing to work nights and holidays
  • Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety
  • Familiar with, and able to read and understand, company and manufacturer manuals
  • Able to comfortably lift 60 lbs routinely with or without reasonable accommodation
  • This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position

Nice To Haves

  • CRJ and EMB experience preferred
  • RII Airworthiness duties preferred

Responsibilities

  • Effectively troubleshoot all aircraft systems
  • Responsible for making critical decisions regarding aircraft safety in a timely manner
  • Perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time
  • Responsible for proficiency in all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork
