The A/P Help Desk Supervisor will provide support to the A/P department and trouble shoot any issues related to Accounts Payable. This supervisor will develop and implement processes/benchmarks to ensure that high quality service is provided. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
• A minimum of 3 years A/P experience and Supervisory experience is preferred
• A minimum of 3 years in an A/P help desk environment or related department is strongly preferred
• Task and detailed oriented; ability to work on an individual basis as well as on a team
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills a must
• Ability to effectively work in a Windows environment with experience in Outlook, Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

• previous experience in a distribution or a customer service environment a plus
• Experience with IBM AS400 operating system a plus

Responsibilities

• First line of support for the A/P help desk department in regards to processes, problems, questions etc
• Develop and implement processes/benchmarks to ensure that high quality service is provided
• Develop Standard Level of Agreement for AP help desk
• Implement methodologies to improve first call resolutions
• Analyze help desk productivity and make recommendations for increased efficiency and effectiveness
• Implement training programs developed by the A/P manager to ensure that processes and customer support is provided in an effective manner
• Supervise, mentor, and train direct reporting staff according to overall company policies and procedures
• Multi-task/manage multiple projects/requests in a fast-paced environment
