About The Position

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced A Level Service Technician to join our team. Position Overview As an Experienced A Level Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction through your technical expertise and professional work habits. You will be responsible for accurately diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles while upholding Madison Honda's high standards of service quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Honda or Acura A Level Service Technician.
  • Proven experience performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.
  • High-energy personality with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Superior customer service skills and the ability to exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed instructions.
  • Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical aptitude evidenced by ASE certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or trade school degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer vehicle concerns using current diagnostic tools and technical resources.
  • Maintain courteous and professional interaction with all customers.
  • Assist as a secondary greeter in the service drive area to acknowledge arriving customers.
  • Stay updated with technical publications, Service Comm, and the Asist terminal system.
  • Deliver safe and high-quality vehicle service, ensuring repairs are completed correctly the first time.
  • Fully address all original customer issues before offering additional services.
  • Inspect vehicles for potential additional service needs based on local and factory recommendations.
  • Return vehicles to customers in a clean or cleaner condition than when received.
  • Participate in factory and in-house training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and ensure proper documentation is attached to repair orders.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or Group Leader.
  • Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and appropriate uniform standards during work hours.
