About The Position

Performs aircraft line support services to include receiving and dispatching aircraft at gates, push back and tow of aircraft, and conducting aircraft security inspections. Performs exterior/interior cleaning of company aircraft and de-icing of aircraft and equipment. Operates aircraft loading equipment and stairs to support maintenance activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid non-restricted driver’s license from the state of residence is required
• Ability to lift/pull 50 lbs
• Frequent kneeling, bending, squatting, and climbing required
• Ability to understand FedEx express aircraft operations, procedures and servicing
• Ability to interpret FAA, EPA and OSHA rules and requirements as they relate to aircraft in FedEx inventory
• Knowledge of aircraft safety procedures
• Knowledge of cleaning materials and their proper applications
• Ability to operate all types of powered equipment
• Must be willing to work odd weeks, rotating shifts, overtime and holidays
• Non-covered safety sensitive position
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
