A/C Maintenance Tech
About The Position
1st Lake Properties is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC / AC Technician to join our maintenance team at our Hickory Creek apartment community. We’re a locally owned and operated apartment management company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for our residents — and we know that starts with a strong, professional maintenance team. About the Role: As an AC Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning and heating systems. You’ll ensure all HVAC equipment is operating safely and efficiently, helping to keep our residents comfortable year-round. You will also perform electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs; as well as prepare apartments for new resident move ins.
Requirements
- EPA certification to work with refrigerant required; We can assist with testing and certification.
- Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license, tools, and reliable transportation required; We can assist with tools purchase if needed!
- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including compressors, coils, and thermostats
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve heating and cooling issues quickly and professionally
- Assist with general maintenance duties as needed, including electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs
- Respond to service requests and emergency calls in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
