911 TELECOMMUNICATOR
About The Position
Are you calm under pressure, quick-thinking, and driven to help others? Apply today to join our team as a 911 Telecommunicator where every shift makes a real difference in the lives of the people we serve. This position acts as the control point for all communications and information for the police, fire, EMA, and EMS operations. Paid training will be provided. The successful candidate will have basic computer skills, excellent verbal communication skills, the ability to stay composed in high stress situations and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. This is a full-time position in a 24-hour facility. Working days will vary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening (including a clear criminal history).
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to stay composed in high stress situations
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
