Shuttle Bus & CDL Driver & Sanitation is a role that encompasses a few different roles, each being done in part during the shift. As a Bus driver, the team member is expected to transport our most important assets, our team members between facilities in a safe manner. As a CDL driver ensuring timely delivery of product between the North Jackson Kitchen and the North Jackson Fulfillment Center and assist in the warehouse and other sanitation/recycling duties as needed. The primary schedule is Monday- Thursday, 11:00p-7:00a but must be willing to work overtime. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to Safely drive company vehicles and use proper skills to transport people as well as dry, refrigerated, and frozen food product Ensure food safety by monitoring truck temps per our SOPs, following sanitation rules, and ensuring seals are in place Complete pre and post trip inspection on truck and trailer Report any equipment failures and vehicle damage immediately to supervisor so that proper repairs can be made is a timely manner Jockey trailers on and off docks at North Jackson Kitchen and North Jackson Fulfillment Unload material within the warehouse Report defects, damages, or discrepancies Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment Load completed meals for shipment to NJF Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area Drive tractors, trucks and trailers to truck wash, fuel station or service center as needed Required Skills and Experience Valid CDL A license and excellent motor vehicle record Must pass DOT physical and drug screen High school or GED equivalent Tractor-trailer driving experience Forklift certification or willing to obtain certification Demonstrated commitment to following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other food safety rules Demonstrated behaviors consistent with our Core Values: Teamwork, Relentlessly Dependable, Appreciation and Respect, Innovation and Constant Improvement, and Nourishing Our Customers Preferred Skills and Experience 53â enclosed tractor-trailer driving experience Material handling and inventory experience 14 Passenger bus or similar experience Physical Requirements Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Able to perform repetitive movements Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot) Company Overview Momâs Meals is a home-delivered meal service providing fully prepared, refrigerated meal solutions direct to homes nationwide for over 25 years.
