About The Position

Job Description Supervises employees on an assigned shift to ensure manufacture of products, parts, components, or assemblies, or to perform service functions within established timing, quality, and cost standards. Supervises production activities to ensure manufactured products meet or exceed all established quality requirements, including product integrity and production order documentation. Directs all related personnel actions, including final selection, training, performance appraisal, discipline, safety, and grievance procedures in unionized environments. Determines manufacturing priorities based on established weekly production schedules and makes daily assignments. Interprets specifications and makes judgments about the acceptability of production that is in process. Implements departmental safety programs to ensure safety of employees working in the area. Directs routine equipment maintenance and set-up. Interface with plant manufacturing personnel as needed, including coordinating, and assisting in Sanitation initiatives within the facility. This position will have a reporting relationship with the site QA Manager and Corporate QA and Corporate Sanitation teams The position will be required that during the months of May and June each year that the position will lead the pre-season startup checklist and ensure all actions are completed. The pre-season startup checklist and all sanitation activities will take priority over production responsibilities during May and June months to prepare for the fresh pack season The post season shutdown checklist and end of season cleaning will take priority whenever the lines and areas are finished their end of season production items. The post season is usually October each pack season At times the position will be 100% production with oversight over production and at times the position will be 100% sanitation with oversight over production at the site The preseason, post season and cleaning before all reman activities will take priority over production responsibilities as a general way of working Complete ATP testing and pre-operational inspections and confirm the lines are acceptable to release from sanitation to production Be the lead person for any and all audits that will require sanitation records, documents and procedures to be reviewed and explained. The position will need to review the audit requirements and ensure the site is prepared with all information to complete all requirements of the audit. The position will be responsible for all documentation, procedures and records required to meet any and all Sanitation MBO KPI’s and upload any information into the required systems to comply with these requirements. Update all sanitation related work instructions within the plant, including PSS instructions. New Hire Base Salary Range: $77,800.00 - $97,300.00 Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
