Job SummaryThe 3rd Grade Part-Time Aide supports the classroom teacher in fostering the spiritual, academic, and social development of students. This role assists with instruction, classroom management, and daily activities while helping maintain a faith-centered, respectful learning environment aligned with Catholic values.

Requirements

• Experience working with children preferred
• Practicing Catholic preferred or willingness to support the mission of Catholic education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow teacher direction and work collaboratively
• Completion of background check and diocesan safe environment training

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with classroom instruction and small group activities
• Provide additional support to students who need help with assignments or concepts
• Help prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources
• Reinforce lessons and assist with reading, writing, and math practice
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, or recess as assigned
• Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior and respect
• Assist with grading, copying, and other clerical tasks
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
• Encourage student behavior that reflects Christian values such as kindness, responsibility, and cooperation
• Participate in prayer and support religious activities as appropriate
