Command Light - 3D Printing Technician
About The Position
Super Vacuum Manufacturing Company is an established locally owned family business that manufactures fire equipment and emergency vehicles that help our communities to save lives. We are looking for an energetic, self-starting 3D Printing Technician to join our Command Light Division. The 3D Printing Technician will support production, processing, troubleshoot and maintain 3D Printer and related equipment. Command Light has helped emergency departments elevate their scene lighting for decades with an assortment of patented light towers and traffic advisors that help roadway responders illuminate nighttime scenes, keeping both the crew and our community safe. Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing desired
- Must be able to regularly lift 50+ pounds
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and twist
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test, and a background check
Nice To Haves
- MJF experience preferred
- SAF experience preferred
- HPMJF certification preferred
- HP Smart Stream experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the HP 5200 Multi Jet Fusion 3D printer and processing equipment
- Prepare printer for upcoming projects according to production schedule
- Extract finished parts from print volume using 5200 post processing station
- Post process parts using the Bead Blaster, Parts Dye Tank, and Parts Dryer
- Ensure part accuracy using various measurement tools.
- Ensure part visual consistency and make necessary adjustments to the dye concentration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet challenging deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Maintain basic organization of workspace
- Perform other duties as assigned
