3D Modeling Product Specialist

About The Position

This individual will specialize in 3D Modeling (Machine Control Construction Models) and the associated skills that accompany Job-File Creation, manipulation, and consultation. This position will partner across company lines to develop and implement a successful 3D modeling solution to the Construction Industry catering to all manufacturers of 3D systems, including John Deere, Topcon, Trimble, Carlson, Caterpillar, and Leica.

Requirements

Strong background in 3D Modeling and Job-File Preparation.
Proficient knowledge of 3D Design software commonly utilized in the Construction Industry including any of the following: Topcon MAGNET Office, AGTEK, Trimble Business Center.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer relations skills.
Proficient computer and phone skills.
3+ years of industry experience or related field.
Ability to travel to other RDO locations if needed along with occasional training.
Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Create a sustaining 3D Modeling business throughout the nation and partner with RDO Account Managers, business partners, and customers to provide a source for 3D Job-File creation, manipulation, and consultation.
Become skilled with the various software (ie , MAGNET Office, Trimble Business Center, Agtek, Carlson, and others) required to provide a complete solution for our customers both Internal and external.
Follow and input on processes and procedures for limiting the associated Risks to RDO Equipment Co. for providing 3D Data.
Adhere to quality control system metrics for tracking pertinent performance expectations.
Attend any and all manufacturer trainings offered for hardware and software that pertain to support and internal processes.
Make recommendations for future support success based on hardware and software needs.
Maintain the system by which we track and catalog all projets so we can all work together to deliver quality results on time and communicate with teammates and customers where there are anticipated delays or issues.
Opportunity to offer assistance on customer’s current or new subscription opportunities. This includes offering subscription options to customers to do their own QA/QC on data before use.
Prepare and lead technical and status presentations for all regions, if needed.
Communicate regularly with internal and field teams on job status, and needs and helping establish the right expectations to deliver quality results in a timely fashion
Seek additional sales, parts, and service opportunities for company and report those prospects to the appropriate parties.
Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
Perform any other special duties as requested by Management to ensure customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn.
Follow all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager and assist other department personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
Attend required company meetings and participate in constructive discussion.
Participate in any and all appropriate training offered RDO Equipment Co.
Conduct self in the presence of customers so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co.
