3D Design Co-Op
About The Position
Landor, a world-leading brand expert and part of WPP, is seeking a 3D Design Intern to join its Cincinnati studio. Landor focuses on making brands more valuable and less vulnerable by solving business problems through brand strategy, design, experience, governance, and measurement. The company's portfolio includes amp, bdg, Deep Local, and ManvsMachine. WPP, as Landor's parent company, is a growth partner for leading brands, integrating media intelligence, data solutions, creativity, production, enterprise solutions, and strategic counsel. This co-op opportunity is designed for college students in their third, fourth, or fifth year, majoring in environmental, 3D environments, industrial, or interior design. Interns will gain practical experience by participating in projects from inception to completion, collaborating with design, strategy, and implementation teams. Each intern will be assigned to a creative team and provided with a mentor to guide them through daily work life. The role involves collaborative work on diverse projects, including 3D modeling, environmental design, industrial design, and retail design.
Requirements
- Currently in third, fourth or fifth year of college, majoring in environmental, 3D environments, industrial, or interior design
- Completed a minimum of 3 semesters or equivalent in your program
- Advanced skills in Illustrator and Photoshop
- Intermediate / exploratory understanding of a handful of the following programs: AfterEffects, CAD tools, Figma, Keyshot, Premier Pro, Rhino, and Sketchup
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Keynote
- Great portfolio
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong desire to learn as much as possible about design at a global agency level
- Knowledgeable and passionate about Landor's work
- Aware of new trends and techniques
- Ability to jump into the work culture with a great attitude and lots of flexibility
Responsibilities
- Participate in projects from start to finish
- Interact with design, strategy, and implementation groups
- Work collaboratively on a variety of projects including 3D modeling, environmental design, industrial design, and retail design
