Prime Healthcare is actively seeking new members to join our corporate team! This position will report directly to the Vice President of Pharmacy. The 340B Program Director will be responsible for assisting with department development, managing operations, strategic planning and objectives consistent with the hospitals’ goals and metrics for pharmacy and 340B. The 340B Pharmacy Director is responsible for managing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of contracted 340B programs, policies, and procedures to maximize gross profit and sales, supporting 340B activities, and expanding healthcare services. The 340B Program Director will serve as the project manager for audits and compliance in the 340B program for Prime Healthcare Hospitals along with establishing a relationship and acting as an expert reference for affiliates. Responsible for monitoring changes in government program requirements and designing changes to the 340B program in Prime Healthcare as necessary along with the education and development of 340B stakeholders at Prime Healthcare. In addition to 340B responsibilities, this position will also be responsible for retail pharmacies within Prime, Contract Pharmacies, Specialty Pharmacy, and will participate in the Prime PBM.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in analytical inventory or operations
  • Two (2) years of hospital pharmacy experience as a pharmacy technician or similar experience
  • Two (2) years of project management experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in 340B
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and drug nomenclature
  • Working knowledge of 340B Splitter Software, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or another related field preferred
  • MBA Preferred
  • Pharmacy Technician preferred
