About The Position

Job Summary The 340B Program Auditor supports NARMC’s 340B Drug Pricing Program by conducting internal and manufacturer audit preparation activities to maintain full compliance with HRSA regulations. This role performs operational, financial, and compliance audits, evaluates patient eligibility, analyzes prescription and billing data, and collaborates with pharmacy, revenue integrity, and compliance teams to optimize program performance and mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Pharmacy technician licensure through the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy OR ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Completion of Apexus 340B University OR ability to complete within 90 days of hire
  • Experience in pharmacy, healthcare services, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, Accounting, Public Health, or related field
  • 1–2 years of hospital pharmacy or commercial drug store experience
  • 1–2 years of Meditech experience
  • 1–2 years of 340B split-billing software experience
  • 340B Apexus Certified Expert (340B ACE) certification
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma quality improvement principles

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent 340B compliance audits for hospital and contract pharmacy operations
  • Perform patient-level testing to confirm eligible 340B dispensing and administration
  • Audit split-billing software and third-party administrator systems to prevent diversion and duplicate discounts
  • Analyze prescription, payer, hospital, and pharmacy data to ensure compliance with HRSA 340B regulations
  • Monitor and evaluate risks including diversion, duplicate discounts, and GPO prohibition violations
  • Review medical records, insurance plans, and hospital status to determine qualified patient eligibility
  • Assess procurement processes including invoicing, inventory management, and mixed-use pharmacy operations
  • Prepare audit summaries and present findings with actionable recommendations
  • Support HRSA audit readiness and documentation review
  • Collaborate with Pharmacy, Revenue Integrity, Compliance, and Health Transformation stakeholders
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and reporting tools for advanced data analysis
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and hospital data
