In support of the Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engine Programs Aftermarket Team, a Component Aftermarket Integrated Product Team (CAIPT) Deputy works together with the CAIPT Leader to drive Aftermarket activity focusing on reducing cost, improving time on wing, and improving turn-around time (TAT) in the overhaul repair shops for our managed commercial engine fleets. This role supports Geared Turbofan (GTF) Aftermarket activity for the PW1100G-JM Program and the varied internal and external customers therein. The CAIPT Deputy is an Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering (ASE) employee, as a co-located member of the Module Center Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) Leadership Team driving execution of Aftermarket support strategy. This position will provide direct support within the CAIPT for all Aftermarket aspects, including Fleet Management, Overhaul Planning, Spares Planning, Safety Risk Assessment, Engine Manual Maturity, and many other aspects of Commercial Aftermarket.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of prior relevant work experience
  • Broad knowledge of project management
  • 3+ years of relevant Aerospace experience
  • Experience working in a cross functional environment across multiple technical disciplines
  • Travel 10%

  • Experience with GTF product family
  • Experience in any Aftermarket capacity within Pratt & Whitney

Responsibilities

  • Perform distress mapping of critical GTF engine components to assess condition and identify issues
  • Identify repair opportunities and establish serviceability limits to reduce scrap rates
  • Collaborate with ASE to execute repair strategies and track success at DATs, including recovery of previously unserviceable assets from CSA
  • Gain exposure to ENC and AIC inspection data to support analysis and decision-making
  • Work closely with CTS, ASE, and CIPT teams to develop a broad understanding of hardware-related challenges
  • Partner with CAIPT leads, PCE, and CE Aftermarket Operations to understand MRO execution processes
  • Analyze and address issues impacting DAT inductions, completions, and turnaround time (TAT)
  • Contribute to strategy development and execution to drive value within 30K MRO operations
