You will also receive, at no cost to you, basic life insurance and disability coverage. C&S Products is searching for a 2nd Shift Production Operator in our Fort Dodge, IA facility. This position requires you to make sure all equipment is safe and efficient to run. Location: 1528 Cardinal Avenue, Fort Dodge, IA 50501 Pay: $22/hour plus a $2.50 shift differential Shift: Monday through Wednesday 3:30pm to 3:30am, Thursday (2 PM or 4 PM), and Overtime as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 50+ pounds with frequent bending, lifting and twisting.
- Must have proficient math skills.
- Ability to learn and operate forklift and handcart in a safe manner.
- Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
- Ability to operate a RF scanner device.
- Must have the ability to bend, twist, turn and climb.
- Possess solid organizational skills.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Responsibilities
- Maintain communication between Line Leaders, Co-Workers, and Shift Supervisor.
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Understand and know the goals and objectives of the department.
- Comply with all safety rules and company policies.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Responsible for reporting any Food Safety issues to authorized personnel for correction.
- Perform efficient machine set-up, clean out and change-over.
- Transfer, stage and package materials.
