About The Position

We are a family-owned scrap recycling company seeking an experienced Second
Shift Lead Maintenance Mechanic to oversee equipment maintenance and support
operations during second shift. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who
enjoys leading by example, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and keeping a
fast-paced operation running smoothly.

Requirements

• Proven supervisory experience and a strong sense of responsibility
• A self-starter who takes initiative and solves problems
• Someone who values teamwork and takes pride in doing the job right

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on outdoor machinery
• Weld, fabricate, and torch with precision
• Lead a team and communicate effectively via email and basic computer tools
• Keep essential recycling equipment operating—supporting American manufacturing and infrastructure
