About The Position
Aspire Staffing is hiring a dependable and safety-focused Bandsaw Operator for a Ready-to-Eat (RTE) department in a food production facility. This role is responsible for operating industrial bandsaw equipment to cut and portion meat products according to production specifications while maintaining strict food safety standards.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (35–45°F)
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous bandsaw or meat processing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial bandsaw equipment safely and efficiently
- Cut RTE meat products to specified sizes and weights
- Inspect products for quality, consistency, and accuracy
- Follow all USDA and food safety regulations
- Maintain clean and sanitized work area throughout shift
- Assist with staging product for further processing or packaging
- Follow all PPE and safety requirements at all times
