About The Position

The World of Warships team is looking for a talented UI-focused artist with strong 2D and 3D skills. Together with the team, you will create visual solutions for in-game events, realistic in-game objects, iconography, full-screen background images and illustrations, as well as contribute to developing new features from the ground up.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in a similar position
Ability to work with iconography (Adobe Illustrator)
3D modeling (preferred Blender) and texturing skills (Adobe Substance 3D Painter)
Knowledge of sculpting (preferred ZBrush) and the ability to accurately reproduce concepts
Ability to draw full-fledged 2D illustrations in a given style (Adobe Photoshop)
Ability to set up scenes for rendering (lighting, environment)

Nice To Haves

Experience in creating interface animations and 2D animations (Spine)
Classic artist education

Responsibilities

Create accent interface elements (banners, iconography)
Create simplified thumbnails from larger arts with rework of details for readability
Prepare and optimize 2D assets for the game client
Create and render mid-poly 3D objects for further concept creation (individual objects based on both real-life prototypes and concepts)
Concept and render of illustrations and background images used in-game
Work on the layout and appearance of unique feature screens in collaboration with designers
Implement UI layouts and assemble visual assets in-engine
Collaborate with game designers on interface logic and user experience flow
Design and prototype interactions and relationships between interface elements
