Each year, we invite high-performing rising seniors to join our Municipal Finance platform for a 10-week U.S. Summer Analyst Program. The program provides a realistic view of municipal finance as Summer Analysts spend their time working on a variety of transactions and development initiatives in all areas of Municipal Finance. Analysts will build a strong foundation in the basic skills of financial problem solving, negotiation and execution. Additionally, they gain experience in marketing the firm’s products and services.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate students entering their final year of study at an accredited four-year college or university, graduating in Spring 2028 or December 2027
  • Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting preferred
  • Familiarity with computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment

  • Well-rounded set of interests and extra-curricular activities beyond academics

Responsibilities

  • Preparing cash flow projections and related financial analyses for potential and actual capital markets transactions
  • Gathering, organizing and analyzing information necessary to prepare proposals, client presentations, offering statements and marketing materials
  • Assisting in the preparation of proposals for prospective clients, describing in detail financing alternatives in originating, structuring and marketing an issue and our ability to perform the underwriting functions in a capable manner
  • Enhancing the department’s use and knowledge of available information pertaining to the municipal capital markets by collecting, organizing and maintaining various marketing materials and information resources
  • Coordinating the various activities, both internal and external, relating to pricing and settlement of debt transactions
  • Performing other tasks job related duties as assigned
