Program Description: Blackstone's Summer Analyst Program is a 10 week in-person experience, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This program provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm, and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone's culture. Blackstone Core+ Real Estate: We are looking to hire Strategy and Management Summer Analysts within our Core+ groups: Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust (“BREIT”), Blackstone Property Partners U.S. (“BPP U.S.”) and Blackstone Property Partners Life Sciences (“BPP LS”). These three Core+ funds oversee over $100 billion of investor capital and focus on industrial, multifamily, student housing, data center, retail, office, and life science real estate properties. BREIT is a public, non-listed REIT offering individual investors access to institutional quality private real estate and debt investments. BPP U.S. is an open-ended fund primarily tailored to institutional investors. BPP LS is an open-ended fund that owns BioMed Realty, a premier life science office operator and developer with assets concentrated in the top life science markets across the U.S. and UK.

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2027 – Spring 2028
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA

Responsibilities

  • Building Excel models that forecast fund performance, cash flows, and dividend payout ratio
  • Monitoring and analyzing the sources and uses of available cash flow to evaluate the highest and best uses of liquidity and to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet fund needs
  • Analyzing potential acquisition and disposition opportunities in collaboration with Acquisitions and Asset Management teams, and the impact of such investment activity on the fund
  • Analyzing cost of capital and debt maturity profile to inform portfolio financing/refinancing decisions, as well as monitoring interest rate risk and hedging strategy
  • Participating in and creating materials for key special projects and internal meetings with senior-level stakeholders across Blackstone
  • Preparing quarterly reports to update investors on fund performance and operational updates
