Applied Materials’ TKM Product Operation Program management is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2026 What’s TKM – TKM is a service produce providing a customized kit of certified spares with best-in-class cleaning and coating services to reduce total cost of ownership (CoO). Valuable contributor to customer process efficiency and future business growth by providing just-in-time high quality services. What the Program Will Provide A great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supplier management, data analysis, and process automation in both business and engineering field, and managerial level reporting within the semiconductor industry. Exposure to cross-functional collaboration and interaction with global leadership teams. Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in the field. Thus, we are seeking a highly motivated intern to support supplier automation related projects and reporting initiatives within our Global TKM business. The position will entail the following:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building trust.
  • Quick learner and able to solve problems creatively and analytically.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Comfortable working in the manufacturing cleanroom environment.
  • Proficiency in Solid Works, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint Applications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Advanced TKM Processes team to define and advance a standardized robotic control platform for use across TKMs supplier network.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Development to evaluate, define, and advance TKM vendor automation opportunities to drive cost reductions across the TKM supplier network.
  • Collaborate SD engineering team and CBM team to analyze business- related numbers and status for global TKM business, providing insights and recommendations for process improvement.
  • Conduct TKM Cost- Saving global initiatives alignment and prepare executive -level status reports for presentation to global leadership.
  • Be a leadership team’s thought partner by developing plans and deploying to bring up multiple global suppliers in parallel.
