TEAM OVERVIEW: MDP/ALD SBU is a service business unit under Applied Global Services to support Metal Deposition Product BU and Atomic Layer Deposition BU, and to develop service product for Applied Materials business deliverables and long-term growth. BU Focal team is responsible for service product & platform development, service engineering, technical project management, and service readiness.

Requirements

  • Engineering/Science education/training
  • Materials, Deposition, Systems experience and domain expertise
  • Hands-on experience with equipment and analytical instruments
  • Critical thinking and ability to influence and communicate effectively
  • Excellent personal time management and project management skills
  • Masters/PhD Materials Science/Mechanical/Chemical/Electronic Engineering or similar
  • Major GPA requirements: 3.2 or above preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support BU focal team to collect and analyze customer high value problems
  • Work with engineering team to develop cleaning/recycle solutions
  • Work with digital tool team to develop digital solutions
  • CoO/CoC (Cost of Ownership/Cost of Consumables) analysis and modeling
