About The Position
Major League Baseball’s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide exceptional students interested in a career in sports with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the diverse business operations of baseball. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through challenging project assignments, information sessions hosted by MLB senior management, and various developmental events. Program Overview: The summer program runs from June 8th to August 7th, 2026 and requires a commitment of 9 weeks. Program will be primarily based out of our New York City office. The following are the departments available accepting intern applications for Summer 2026 Program: Broadcast Operations Enterprise Technology Information Security Software Engineering Software Test Engineering Product Design Product Management Technical Project Management Technology Services The internship application period will remain open until Dec 19, 2025. Requirements
- Rising college senior, recent graduate or graduate-level student
- Working towards a Computer Science related degree
- Self-learner, independent, and outstanding problem-solving skills
- Excellent academic standing
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with Python, Java or React
Nice To Haves
- Some previous work experience (part-time, internship, or volunteer) related to the department(s) of interest is strongly preferred
