Our Early-In-Career program is designed to nurture early career talent through a 10-week paid summer internship and full-time entry-level opportunities, aiming to cultivate the future leaders of the industry. Our University team is committed to attracting skilled individuals who will not only grow personally and professionally, but also contribute to the strategic goals of our company. Job Overview: As a Product intern, you will research, design, and prototype a new product/service offering. You will play a critical role in cross-functional efforts to identify new product opportunities, develop business case inputs including value drivers. This will be a high-impact role, with visibility to senior leadership, by creating and implementing product strategies to bring new services to market that will influence the funding decision for a new service opportunity. Your 10-week internship will include an individual project, to be presented to senior leadership at the end of the summer, as well as the chance to gain hands-on experience working with the team on ongoing innovation product management efforts. This position would like the ideal candidate to be local to the Fort Mill and San Diego offices functioning off a hybrid schedule at the intern and manager’s discretion.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Finance, Business Management, or related field required with an expected graduation date by May 2027
  • Classroom experience directly related to your preferred role
  • Experiences such as an internship, hackathon, research project or related experience
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient organizational and communication skills, both oral and written

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with collaboration software (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams

Responsibilities

  • Participate in product design, testing and demos following the team’s roadmap
  • Collaborate with team members on advisor outreach
  • Creation of client-facing presentations and guides
  • Assist with team tracking, reporting and data management
