About The Position

The hybrid-based summer intern will play a key role in supporting the operational strategy of the Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO) group by assisting with daily activities and contributing to cross-functional projects. Working under the guidance of GCDO management, the intern will engage with functions including Business Operations, Strategic Partnerships and Outsourcing, Study Management, and Process Excellence and Delivery to align efforts in support of GCDO’s operating model. The intern will take on a combination of routine departmental tasks and developmental assignments, gaining hands-on experience with operational planning, process management, and the tracking and reporting of business objectives. Through these responsibilities, the intern will develop essential skills and build professional relationships, all while receiving mentorship and guidance to foster both personal and career growth.

Requirements

  • Hybrid position based in Cambridge, MA
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, with at least one year of completed university coursework
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Familiarity with digital tools and emerging technologies such as AI, data analysis platforms, and productivity software
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and follow through on deliverables
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2026 or later
  • The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (May 26th -August 14th or June 15th - August 21st)
  • The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
  • Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
