About The Position

Sixth Street’s Summer Internship program is an opportunity for rising seniors to join our Human Capital Management ("HCM") team in our New York office. At Sixth Street, our team builds businesses, invests for growth, acquires assets, provides direct financing, identifies value in public markets, purchases royalty streams, and regularly develops first-of-their-kind structures to meet the strategic objectives of companies and management teams across all stages of growth. Overview of Program: Participate in a 10-week internship program designed to give you a robust understanding of Sixth Street’s Human Capital Management team Support employees and managers through key life-cycle events such as hiring, onboarding and separation in close partnership with Recruiting, Benefits, and HCM Business Partners Organize and help manage our onboarding and New Hire Orientation sessions for incoming employees Execute on and enhance existing programs/strategies for fostering engagement and integrating new joiners into their teams and the broader firm Respond to employee and candidate queries and requests where needed Partner with HCM colleagues to manage employee exits and offboarding in a streamlined and thoughtful manner Obtain hands-on, meaningful, and substantive work experience in a small class that is representative of our Analyst Program

Requirements

  • Qualified candidates will ideally be pursuing a BA/BS degree
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited program and must be on track to graduate in either Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
  • Excellent academic record – please include GPA on your resume and note that we may request a copy of your transcript
  • Applicable coursework or previous internship in the field of investments or financial markets
  • Excellent work ethic and high degree of professionalism
  • Commitment to a team and goal-oriented environment
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative and collegial environment; excited to participate in diverse projects across multiple HCM functional areas
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamically changing environment
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills
  • Desire to take on challenges and develop skillset as an HCM professional
