About The Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our Financial Systems team. This internship offers hands-on experience and an opportunity to learn about corporate finance systems division. He or She will gain exposure to and develop skills in User Acceptance UAT testing, Analytic Reporting and Project Management, SOX IT
The Financial Systems division facilitates the integrity, functioning, and enhancement of key finance division systems that enable the company to meet its obligations to end consumers, dealers, tax jurisdictions, regulators, investors, lenders, financial institutions, and associates. The primary areas of focus are system administration, program change management, and project management

Requirements

• Seeking a Masters or MBA/ student pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Accounting
• Knowledge in the following:
• Microsoft Office, MS Visio
• AI knowledge
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be enrolled as a Master’s, or MBA student at an accredited college or university.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Available to work onsite at our Torrance location.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, for a minimum duration 6–8 weeks (depending on school schedule).

Responsibilities

• Manual Inventory: coordinate refresh and validation of key control mapping.
• Accounts Payable (AP) process mapping with perspective of identifying AI opportunities.
• System enhancement testing and report development: support related efforts associated with the company's ERP and Data Warehouse systems.
• Reference Guide - Oracle PeopleSoft: Organize and compile the department's system administration material.
• SharePoint site: evaluate and organize folders with perspective of improving ease of use.
