LPL’s Client Success Intern Program offers a 10-week paid summer experience designed to accelerate your development and provide exposure to real-world advisor facing work. Throughout the program, you’ll collaborate with senior leaders, contribute to high-impact projects, and gain firsthand insight into how business planning and execution come together to drive business success. You’ll engage in business planning, reporting and event coordination, while developing hands-on experience with the team that serves LPL's elite advisors. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 3.3 GPA
  • Strong interest in the financial services industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • The ideal candidate should be local to the Fort Mill office during the time of the internship and will work on a hybrid schedule. (3 days in the office)
  • Offer contingent on successful background screening
  • Ability to analyze and organize data to uncover insights and trends
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication
  • Full-time position for 10 weeks in the summer of 2026; Monday through Friday, working 40 hours a week during business operating hours
  • Dependent on team needs, work locations could be remote, hybrid or in office (Fort Mill, SC office)
  • Interns should plan to participate for the entire program.
  • Program dates: June 1, 2026-August 7, 2026

  • You will be responsible for obtaining and providing to LPL the required I-9 documentation as part of our onboarding process.
  • Positions offered are for full-time work at 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Support business planning and advisor engagement preparation, including assisting with advisor growth reporting, identifying opportunity trends, pulling data and streamlining planning processes.
  • Build and maintain advisor dossiers and materials ahead of FOCUS engagements to support effective Success Manager conversations.
  • Assist with FOCUS and community event coordination, including RSVP management, scheduling, accommodations, and general administrative support.
  • Participate in advisor calls and internal meetings, helping draft agendas and talking points by synthesizing key themes, updates, and insights.
  • Maintain and improve Client Success infrastructure, including refreshing templates, cleaning up Salesforce data, liaising with partner teams for updates, and contributing to special projects.
