Within this intern role, you will be supporting the Clinical Operations group within Genentech Research and Early Development (gRED) Early Clinical Development (ECD) Operations and the broader gRED and Roche-Genentech organization. gRED ECD Clinical Operations provides expertise for clinical trials that support the overall early development strategies of the gRED portfolio. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, On-Site. Drive Clinical Operations and Inclusive Research Initiatives: Lead and execute strategic projects for the Clinical Operations and Inclusive Research and Health Equity (IRHE) teams while representing Clinical Operations across pan-Roche functions. Innovate Trial Design: Research emerging trends in study conduct, patient-centricity, digital health, and recruitment to bring fresh, data-driven insights to clinical programs. Manage Data & Reporting: Analyze large datasets and maintain tracking repositories to measure progress and inform strategic decision-making for program and study management and inclusive research. Foster Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (pRED, Global Patient Network) and external partners to integrate diverse perspectives into the research process. Communicate & Champion Impact: Develop compelling presentations and organizational campaigns to showcase progress and advocate for simplified, inclusive best practices. Intensive 12 months, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship. Program start dates are in May/June 2026. A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship. Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
