About The Position
This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions. Requirements
- You must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)
- You must be enrolled full time in a university degree program aligned to the area of internship.
- You must be a current sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in good academic standing.
Responsibilities
- Manages modifications to new buildings, structures, utilities and other systems in support of site operations.
- Determines customer requirements; develops plans and schedules; obtains construction services; validates progress; and ensures completion, functionality, and customer acceptance.
- Ensures that facilities modifications, expansions, and construction projects are accomplished within established priorities, scope, schedules, and budgets.
- Interfaces with company organizations, customers, and suppliers to meet company business requirements.
